《你並不孤单》一人弹超短四重奏
The music I wrote for the 12 Acts of SONG & DANCE OF A 3-TIME CANCER SURVIVOR can be played as it is, but has room for further development. The idea derives from my childhood memory of Cantonese opera in Hong Kong ‒ lead performers freely modified existing music to show off their unique style/talent according to the words and drama. Accompanying instrumentalists followed the leads flexibly. The concept is quite different from Western Classical music where musicians follow the score strictly and are controlled by a conductor. Music for various acts will be shown on this page. See my PhD thesis for more details.
我為《歌舞慶重生》12段寫的音樂，既可以跟譜奏，亦可以將其作原型，修改擴充和再創作。這想法源於我小時在香港睇大戲聽粵曲的記憶，曲詞和劇情及大老倌獨特的唱腔，會令同一小曲或曲調聽起來大異其趣，樂器師傅亦很活動地跟老倌的唱和演和變化。這與西方古典音樂的概念大不相同，那是音樂人嚴謹地跟樂譜和跟指揮。我會把這十二段的一些樂𧪽在此頁上載。我的博士論文有更多的樂譜和解説，不過論文是用英文寫的。
